Need to get clutch soon, money isnt an object as of now cause im really gonna start modding my car so im starting with clutch cause its crapping out neways. What are advantages/disadvantages. wanna hear feedback from ppl who KNOW and have them.

all I have to say is screw centerforce, their shitty clutch disc came apart after 7K miles and looked pretty bad when I took it out. If you're FWD, the general consensus is to get a 2100, while you're in there grab taboo's clutch fork and shim the pivot ball, trust me, it's very important. I bent a clutch frok in 2 days with just a centerforce and some spirited driving.

One of my good buddies had the Centerforce dual friction in his 2G FWD. He went to the track and with 4 launches, it was toast! He took it out and put in a 2600. I did the 2600 with an ACT flywheel and Quaife L.S.D. about 3 months ago and I love it. I also have a 2G FWD. That's what I would suggest!

I was using a 2100 Pressure Plate with a ACT 6-puck and the 6 puck broke after 7000 miles.

I would keep the stock PPlate and only use a ACT street disk clutch, because the PPLate won't help for crank walking if your car will walk or not.

ACT2100 should be more than enough if you are just starting to mod your car. By the time you NEED the 2600, your 2100 will be about due to be replaced anyway.

It doesn't matter, your tires will spin too much with a fwd car anyways to hook up once you start laying down some power. I would go with the 2100 being how it's a 7 bolt, to maybe help avoid getting crankwalk. Us w/ AWD cars use the 2600's cuz we have more of a load that needs to get transfered. Since we have rear and front spinning. Being a FWD, the 2100 will be fine for you, and if you happen to put slicks on it, or drag radials to help you hook up better, your clutch will slip instead of busting a tranny.
