can ACT 2600 induce crank walk

I dont want want to induce CW. I have heard a heavy clutch will make you get it. I was thinking about getting just the 2100, to try and make my non-crankwalking engine last longer

yes, vfaq i think has a page of incidents of CW with various clutches..and it seems the 2600 owners get a lot more cw than other clutch users

Notice the 2600 is rated 3 for crankwalk.

No. The ACT 2600 will not cause crankwalk. An incorrectly adjusted ACT 2600 will cause it.... ANY CLUTCH not properly adjusted will cause crankwalk.

Things to face when buyin a 2G.... there is a design flaw in the assembly of the clutch/motor. You can get lucky and get one that won't. Keep the clutch properly adjusted and you will be fine. Don't care about maintenance and you will. Then there are those that are gonna get crankwalk with an ACT, a CFDF, or a stocker. That i the cold hard fact and came straight from a Mitsubishi tech I know. They f'd up, they know it, they won't fess up and they won't fix it.
