New Tranny

Need a new tranny.. mine is pretty much done. I heard B&M have good trannys and jasper racing has good ones, i want a better than oem tranny, so any suggestions would be appreciated.. by the way it is slightly modified, 2g GS-T eclipse 1995.

this topic has been beatin' to death! anyway, getting a "new" tranny isn't much better than rebuilding yours, except for bragging rights and it being all shiny and what not.

www.teamrip.com can rebuild your tranny with much more than stock parts and capabilities. Mine will be on it's way to them once FEDex gets it's lazy butt over here. Things like modified sychros, better rails and forks, all will help.

www.shepracing.com is also a popular choice, especially considerring he has a 8.769 1/4mile time.

TRE sells new transmissions also, but as for me, after looking at the pros and cons, i'd rather build mine up and put that money towards engine uprades.
