What'll it run?

Yeah, this is one of those posts so maybe no one will respond or I may only get "take it and find out" (track's not open for bout 3 months, hehe) but I'll give it a try.

My bro blew my car's HG so I went ahead and threw on some upgrades while having the HG changed. Then when I get it back I got a couple of things I'll be putting on myself. Here's what it'll have all said and done:

Ported 14b Turbo
Ported 2g Exhaust Manifold
K&N FIPK
Supertrapp Muffler (looks pretty straight through, )
Test Pipe (Kitties are bad)
Turbo XS MBC
450CC Injectors

Now the car is a 91 Talon TSi AWD AUTO. What kinda times (and boost) can I run on 93 octane? Race gas?

TIA to anyone who takes the time to venture an estimation.

14.2-14.3 is my guess if your lucky with auto. Good luck, and the only reason no body responds is because there are too many factors to tell exactly.

Off subject...But is the 14B a direct bolt on swap with the 13G? no tuning involved? Are the injectors plug and play too?

Yo dude, you need a few things to do the swap:

1G 14b exh. mani (I just went ahead and got a lightly ported 2g)
450 Injectors (I think they're P&P)
Oil and coolant lines for the 14b, they're bigger.

Now from there it seems opinions differ. Some say you HAVE to have either an MT ECU or SAFC to run the 450s. I'm gonna try it with the AT ECU and see if I experience the weirld idle and extreme richness that the MT/SAFC fans are talking about.

In any case though, SAFC would definately be a plus, just not gonna happen on my beater/daily driver.

injectors, cams, and ecu are different the rest can stay.

I know...but if a manufacture makes the cams different then you def need them to get the full potential out of the car. But no you dont need them, I would just to be nice.

i have a 1g awd, and my first run was a 13.7 with a catback2.5" k&n, act2100. BUT i have a 5speed. I would expect something of a 14.0 roughly. Guy at my local track has an auto 93awd and similar mods to me and hes running similar times. Not sure if he swapped out the cams or injectors yet but i'm pretty sure he had a 14b.
