60 ft time

i ran a 14.835 with a 2.4 60'. I just got nitto 555 drags, now how should i do my take off? I have a esi turbo'd fwd Please help

With drag radials you shouldn't have a problem getting those 60fts. down to 2.0-2.1.

That'll knock a good 4+ tenths off of your E.T.

Launching a FWD is an artform. It takes practice....LOTS of practice. My best 60' on street tires is only a 2.23. I havnt run the car on slicks yet but I will soon. My advice to you is to learn how to feel the car. Basically when you launch the car, rev it up and slip the clutch just enough to get the car moving, then give gas proportionately to how you release the clutch. The slower you do this the more you are burning the clutch. Eventually you can do this pretty quickly and it won't affect the clutch as much. Its hard to describe. Once you can launch the car decently on street tires, move up to the drag radials. Raise your launch RPM a bit and do the same thing as before. Hope that helps.
