Hey everyone! As much as I wanted to run 11's on the stock I/C and piping, MAF, and injectors......I think the 12.0 was about where that set-up is done. The last three times at the track I ran 12.0 passes, so close to 11's but just lacking something....a little more pull on the top-end of the track. So, I went ahead and added some mods. I added:

-2G MAF with Dejontool intake pipe
-modded stock I/C-2.25" in/out - Dejontool
-2.25" lower I/c pipe - Dejontool
-Buschur upper I/C pipe
-Precision 550cc injectors
-AFC 2

So, now it's time to dyno. About 3 weeks from now I will run the car again and see what we've got. I'll let you guys know how the dyno goes, although I will most likely tune on a local Dynapack set-up vs. a jet like I had previously dynoed on at Altered Atmosphere in MD.

I was at 266hp and 282TQ at 21psi. I know Leon made 305 or so with his 14b combo.......he had 40 hp at the wheels over me. If I can bridge that gap at all with this set-up, I SHOULD be able to run in the 11's. We will see.

Anyway guys....just giving you a heads-up on whats going on. I haven't been able to give the time I wanted to the car this year, but, I figure before the year closes out, I'll give it one more shot.

Leon--thanks for the invite....don't know if I can make it on such short notice......not to mention, where is Ayer? Some of my friends down here in CT have actually dynoed at Adrenaline before. Also, what would the cost be? Approximately... I tried to find your email, but, in your profile it isn't listed. I am definitely interested.......but, like I said, it might be too short notice. Not to mention I could use some tips on tuning, I know you have a ton more experience with that than I do, but, then again, I'm your 14b opponent:), so I know normally, especially around "other" shops, everything is "top secret!" hehe.....

any more details will help.....

the guys down here at VR were trying to plan a day up there at KTR soon.....

ps- I just read you went 10's.....congrats! Very cool.

Thanks, that pesky 10 sec run too a lot of effort…

KRT are the guys who used to be Adrenalyn. Only they now have a newer dyno. You should know, I keep no secrets and always help people out, even if they are my opponents :).

Check out www.ktrmotorports.com for location, they just be with-in 70-80min of Hartford.

We are splitting $1000 day rental 15 ways. So it is $67/person/40min session (it ends up being $100/hour). That is a bargain for AWD dyno and they do not even charge extra for a test pipe… :)

...ok, I think I will be able to make it.....although, I'll be trailering the car up there..........You will get the chance to see how gutted the beast is anyway. I mean.......it's gutted, but, that's what it took to even think about running what I've run. Thanks for offering to help, that would be cool. So, 9 am, does that put me on first? The shop is apparently 112 miles or so from where I live in Bristol, CT, no biggie, I just have to roll up there around 6am.

Just a few questions for you: #1 I DO NOT have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I am running the 255 Walbro non high pressure.
Do you think the ADJ FPR is neccessary? I really can't afford it right now, but...I could probably have one in line by this weekend if I needed to.

#2 Do they sell any race gas there?
#3 Not really a question, but I would assume they accept major credit cards? I'll check the site.........

If you would like to discuss this further, you can email me at [email protected] or we can just continue up here. Thanks fo rthe help, really....so it's a 99% chance I can be there, so reserve a slot. Talk to you in a bit...
