First time at the TRack

Well today was my first time to run my car at the track. My first five runs where like 15.5 and 15.4, thats running about 12-13 psi.....

Ofcourse I thought this to be to high for my car so I turned up the BOOST to about 15-16 psi... then I ran a 14.793 @89.87.

My best 60' foot time was a 2.100 which I thought to be high as well but with the stock clutch I guess its alright.

Let me know what yall think about my times.

it looks like your almost stock, so, not bad, but you should be at least at mid to low 14's.

My best with a stock clutch is 1.789, and I average 1.8

Besides my 60' foot times sucking, my main problem was getting my boost situation right. What I mean is I boost 12pounds in first, second, and third gears...but in fourth and fifth gear, I boost a steady 14pounds(I don't have a clue as to why though). I left it that way since my car has almost 175K miles on it. So my first few passes I was only boosting 12pounds because I normally never got out of third gear. So on my sixth and final past I turned the boost up to about 15 or 16pounds.

I do need to work on my 60' foot though.

At what RPM's should I launch at??? I was launching at around 4K...
