Actually things started to go bad before we got there. I just installed my 3" turbo back exhaust, ported a whole lot of things, and turned up my boost to 15psi. I went for a test drive after i did all the mods and i started to break traction in 2nd. It felt great. On the way to the tracks on the highway i felt like going around these slow @$$ cars so i left my car in 4th and started to roll on the throttle. once it hit 12psi my revs went up faster than usual.
I was like wtf? So i tried it again and the revs went up without the car going any faster. It was a nightmare. I was only 2 miles away from the tracks. I did a 15.0 et. on that slipping clutch it barely even chirped went i dumped the clutch on the launch. I stopped after I run cause i wanted drive home not towed
I was thinking about the act 2600 clutch. I did a search but i only hear a lot of awd owners using it. Is it a good idea for a fwd to get one? My goals are breaking into 12's BTW This is not a daily driven car. Can any estimate what kind of times i would've gotten if my clutch wasn't slippin
