Friday night I went to ATL dragway again to try to get some last runs in before the T25 comes off the car. I was able to bust out a bunch of mid 13 second passes with the T25 and stock side mount. Here is my best run:

1.790...60'
8.568...1/8
82.42...MPH
13.482...1/4
98.90...MPH

All my mod's are in my profile, I ran the stock, untouched T25 and stock, untouched side mount. I will scan my slip tonight so I can update my time for the times page.:thumb:

I have seen/worked on this car personally. Tony is a really good driver/Tuner. I personally find it mind boggling that he even pushed it that far. Its insane when you figure its the t-25, on a stock side mount, stock injectors. Great job tony. Now lets see some 12's with the 14b you just put on.

I will let tony give all the details of the run. I do know that he isnt the fastest t-25, damn close tho. The fastest T-25 so far that we know of is

Allan Dahlen
13.404
1.783 60

He is soo close 7 hundreds of a sec. Anyone that can break into the 13's with this turbo deserves props.

Thanks guys.

According to dsmtimes.org I am 4th T25 powered car, but I am pretty sure the 3 cars ahead of me had upgraded intercoolers. I have talked to Allen (the fastest T25 car) and he had an FMIC.

I am not going to give away everything I did to get that run. My mod's list is everything that is in my car, but all my settings are specific to my car, you can experiment with your own car to get yours running well. I took 5 trips to the track and made 30 passes with the same set up dialing everything in to make that run. All of my runs are on my web site (Friday's runs will be updated by tonight) so you can see everything there.

I will say that the T25 still makes power well above the levels that everyone on this board suggests and the stock fuel system (without the rewire) is extremely rich, even at high boost, buy a logger before cranking the boost though.

You only said that because you shouldn't have trouble running 13's next time out with your car ;)

wow awesome time!

I'm curious... were your tires at stock pressure or did ya let them down a bit?

my best 60ft was 2.1 w/ my FWD (Yokohama tires) :D

wow, even more impressive! I bet you drove that bi*** hard!

AWD is a little different to launch than your FWD. I would probably be needing some slicks to launch a FWD like that, but regardless, the track was crap that night and I was working my butt off in the car to get those 60's. Atlanta Dragway gets really humid at night and dew settles all over the track.

Wow this is the 2nd time I've been bought up for the t25 time. Really isn't all that hard to get low 13s, but people usually upgrade before adding the rest of the package.

Great job on the times, now push for 12s :)

I was gonna try, but needed out of the car payment so I got a 1G. In my GSX that ran teh 13.404 @ 100 I had no fuel control as well (stock injectors, no afc, stock rewired fuel pump) Basicly full exhaust, ACT 2600lb clutch, FMIC, and the nessasary IC piping and basics to drop the clutch at 6k and let her buck.

Oh what fun!!!

Thanks again guys.

I got a chance to make a couple runs on the 14b. The conditions were far from ideal (3 hour rain delay) and I was able to pull off a 13.39 at 100 untuned. Hopefully it will go quicker next time out, but still not bad at all for the first time out on a new (to me) turbo on pump gas.

That time is insane. My stock fuel system started knocking at those speeds..... ON A T28! And I have a DSMLink!

I'm jealous, but I gotta give you props. I honestly think some stock fuel pumps just run much better than others.

Dustin K the #2 on the fast T-25 was on a stock 2G SMIC as well but awesome time. People were saying my 13.8 was fast but that is with the complete stock exhaust and cat on the car. I am in the process of installing a 2 1/2 turbo back so I will take it out to the track to see of I can get a lower 13 sec..

Congrats :thumb: on your awesome times with the T25 and the 14b! I've got a 95 TSI AWD with similar mods as you except for the S-AFC, I hit 13.96 at a measely 94.69 mph  with the T25 and thought that's all the turbo had so I put on a 14b but haven't been to the track with it yet. Since I had a spare T25 laying around I had it upgraded into a T28.

Reading your post about the T25 I automatically wanted to put the T28 in but then I saw your run with the 14b and now I want to keep that turbo in, you're making it difficult for me to decide;) Anyway, would you mind telling me what your launching at and your shift points with the 14b.

Also, which turbo would you fellas put in, the 14b or the t28? The 14b was recently rebuilt (approx. 2500 miles on it) and is the turbo in the car right now. The T28 (ported WG and 36 mm flapper) was upgraded from my T25 and has no miles on it.

Thanks!
