Wanted to share some pictures of my project car with you guys... this is the second cage I had to do with this car, thankfully the second time around my Boss was helping me do it so it could get done properly.... anyways... here are the pics... this is going in a Starion.

Soon to come...waiting on UPS!, Chute handle, window net, weld on helmet hook, fire surpression tabs, steering column kit, grant steering wheel with SFI 42.1 quick release and button kit, a bunch of universal tabs and mounted the kirkey somewhat... seat belt tabs, Rear QA1 coil over tabs welded in, 9" rear end painted satin black... Boss is gonna call the NHRA guy and see if we can get the sticker placed on it very soon... so.. once we get all of this installed ill take the pics and post them...

That looks awesome, I cant wait to see your car finished. What kind of timeslips are you going for?
 
Beautiful welds and that cage just looks beefy....

Just wondering off hand since you are a fab shop...Would you guys build tubular subframes and such for our cars....I'm sure there is enough of us that wouldnt mind getting some....
 
Nice welds. I am about to purchase my first welder shortly. I hope I can weld like you one day. Great Job. Good luck with the build.
 
Looks like a fun project to keep you busy for awhile! Those welds looks very nice, nothing like a nice Tig setup! Looks like some good penetration too on your material, what gauge tubing is that and how much current are you running to get that penetration? Also, what gas are you using and are you purging, or using any sort of flux? I'm anxious to see how this turns out! I've always wanted a tube chassis car!
