Does everyone have a roll bar?

I dont completly understand all the rules, Im in Washington and when ready will goto PIR.

I cant find solid information, but if 11.99 or quicker do you get kicked off the strip w/o a roll bar?

Does a Roll bar mean 8pt Roll cage? A single bar? Im lost here.

So does every 50trim car have to be fully setup with a Roll cage and 5pt harness to legally run the 1/4th?

What do you guys do?

Im looking at a Holset HX35 and I know that Ill break the 11.99 soon enough ( Dont flame I will work my way there if need be, this is not the area) and really dont wanna rape my 99GSX DD with a roll cage.

Basically, the rules are this:

13.99 - faster = Helmet

11.49 - faster = Roll Bar (main hoop + 2 rear bars + 2 door bars)

10.99 or 135mph - faster = Roll Cage (main hoop + 2 rear bars + 2 door bars + 2 dash/roof/halo bars)

You can go run an 8 second pass, once.
Pay attention to your trap speed and et's try not to get past the cutoff on trap, thats what gets most people booted.

NHRA is 9.9 or 135mph for Roll Cage

I had no trouble when I ran multiple high 11 second passes at my local track, but the very first time I ran faster than 11.5 I got waved off to the side where the track official gave me a talk.

I'm so glad our track s very relaxed with the roll cage rules and stuff, I hvae ran 3-5 10.6X-11.00's and have street 1G. I couldn't see putting a roll cage in it to race it, that takes away the streetability to me. I'm pretty sure next year though we will have a much stiffer tech but I like having a mid ten second street car that hits the tracks on the weekends.
