I try not to post much, but I pushed hard last year, and was happy with the results.
This winter I have basically drained the bank accounts, and am pushing hard. In my area we are runnign 1/8 mile, so comparisons can be hard. I am wanting to be in the 6's in the 1/8 this year. Being a carb'sd big-0block gut untill 1 year ago, it has been 1 hell of a learning curve. I do have a great ability to tune (I am paid everyday to do it on cars from Evo's to 996 Porsches, Lambos, Lotus's, etc.) Basically I would like to lay out the current mod list and see if anyone sees some thing that is missing. The saftey equip is there, cage and all. Just looking for input on the drivetrain.
Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Pretty crazy how close they are! Only differences are that I am 5-speed, I am 2.3L, and you have a fully built head as where mine is completely stock for now. Let me know how your car does, and I will let you know how I do with mine. I think that this HX-40 is gonna do pretty good. I still need to get a different exhaust housing for mine, but I dont want to get the bullseye one because it is too small, especially for my stroker. It would just kill topend. So once I get another exhaust housing, mine should be good to go down the track after some tuning of course. And some bigger injectors.

WOW! They are pretty close. Seat of the pants is kinda killing me right now, as it pulls hard to 9400. I don't normally shift there, but it does want to pull past even that. I will be sure to update once the track opens.
But mainly, not major missing piece???
That is what I am in fear of. Is there something I missed?
