Anyway I went to Pomona over the weekend and thought I'd share some of the pics.
The Titan car ran a 6.6 at 215mph (I think it's a scion)

Here's a WORLDS FIRST, not only are there 2 MINIs drag racing against each other for the first time but in the Red M600 is Hubie Fuh the worlds fastest MINI racer and as a guest driving the Silver Mega MINI is Paul Webster who flew in from the UK just for the opportunity...Hubie was consistent staying in the 10's and so was Paul sticking with his 12's...way to go guys! Awesome site

The old VW Beetles were out in full force, they pretty much dominated Pomona. It was fun watching them wheelie during their launches.

EE-I'm watching the video. Good stuff. Too bad you didn't get the 20 guys fighting in the parking lot on tape I got some pis but nothing too good, I'll try and post them soon. Sad thing is from what I could tell they were fighting over a parking spot

The fight happened right down the way from where I was parked but I was in the stands watching the racing at the time. At least the cop made the children leave.

I was hoping to have some good shots of the fight, this is about the best I could do. They were all out ganging up on that one kid. It sounded like they were fighting over where "they" told him not to park his car. That kid you see flying like superman in the third shot was a punk. And i mean punk like a nancy boy dirty fighter. He would kick the guy when everyone was holding him down and when he saw the guys buddies come over to help out he went strait for the crowbar in the trunk and walked towards the guys car. I hate dirty fighters (I'm seriously holding my tongue about the names I wanna call this kid). They pretty much all looked like a bunch of idiots though.

Sorry Yellow-I didn't get any videos of the crash. It was so far down the track I could barely see it.

Had I been there to see that, it would have been two on 4. Me with my axe handle ( which I carry in my trunk ) clubbing some baby seals. That is the second fight in under 2 months that I have dealt with at a racing event. I dont really see the point of that.

hope the guy is ok.

and screw cowards who cant 1 on 1 it like men.
