I'm going to build this car this winter. It will be used only for stock class drag racing. I'd like some educated guesses as to the E.T. it will run.

'91 FWD Laser
Stick shift
3" down pipe with no other exhaust system
Modified MAS
K&N filter, no air box
Slicks
Big fuel pump
Ported manifold and O2 housing
Minor suspension work

Most other modifications are illegal in this class...
Any other suggestion? Computer changes are legal. AWD is not.

Thanks!

If you can run race gas and a boost controller then you might be able to grab a high 13 with good driving.

I think that if yu happen to run slixks with that setup you will heurt your topend a lot to where its not realy worth it. Try using some street drag tires and remove the bcs and poke a tiny hol ein you wg solenoid line =). Other than that jus tlighten it up and mash the hell out of the gears!!

hold on, lemme go grab my crystal ball so I can answer this LOL

only thing you can do is get the parts you can, slap em on, tune the car the best you can and go run it and find out.....everything you hear here will be all speculation, there's too many variables to give an accurate guess

on my 1990 fwd talon i got a best time of 13.97 @104 w/ a 2.2 60 foot.

the car had all free mods, a mbc, crushed BOV, no cat, k/n and a gutted factory muffler. also had no ac or egr system pieces and water alcohol injection in front of the turbo (alot easier and cheap, but made a huge difference). a 2g o2 housing was also on. 225/50/16 goodyears on some kind of american racing aluminum wheels from pepboys

That 13.97 sounds fast, all things considered! It will give me something to shoot for, if nothing else.:thumb: 104 mph? Wow!
