First race in DSM!

Well I decided to see what my newly acquired '99 GST could do. (Repossessed cream puff) I am new to the DSM scene so I was a total virgin racing this car. As a daily driver, I haven't done any modifications. So anyways I ran 16.142 @ 87.274. This wasn't bad considering I had a 2.737 60 ft. OUCH!!! (is that even possible!) I damn near stalled it after a pretty decent .10 reaction time. I guess I started it out to low of an RPM, but then again it was the first time running it. Got to get familiar with it. I had to get this off my chest!

Well since my first post, I have managed to start runnin low fifteens @ 90 mph. I figured that is pretty good on a total stock car at 5000 ft above sea level. I feel more confident with the whole dsm power. Keep rockin the star!!!!

Thats just horrible driving, try to knock that 60ft down to 2.1-2.2, A well driven GST can run as low as 14.8 or so.

Rev it to 3500-4000 RPM, dont dump the clutch, easy in 1st, mash it in second.
