1G BOV
MBC @ 14-15psi
K&N filtercharger kit
boost gauge
air/fuel light show gauge

I know I need alot of work but if I mad a really goor run do you think 14's are possible with my setup and trap speed?

wow, get your 60' to like 2.0 or even 2.1-2 and ull be in 13s.

Respectable for your first time. First time at the track is an odd experience usually because it is so different that driving on the street and too many things factor into a good or bad run. keep at it and you will notice your times get faster with every run. Work on your launch and net yourself some 14s.

Yeah your 60' needs a lot of work...it's hard with front wheel drive. I've gotten 14.4@95 so you could get a lot of time off with that trap speed.

14.1@94 <--1g with intake and 14psi, no cat. (also really hot out and 7/8 tank of gas) 1.8 60' time with bald tires/slipping clutch.
its all in the 60'. That was my 1st time to the track.
Nice times for the first time out, just work on that 60' time.

my best was a 2.4 on my first trip...woulda been a solid 14's run if i didnt bog 3rd gear (yea i have no idea how i did it either!?!) or have a passenger.
so you should be running much better times. a good pair of tires is irreplacable for FWD's as well

ya ya ya I know the car started to wheel hop so I had to get out of it but I think it will run 14's

My very first time at the track i ran 14.82 @ 96mph 13-15 psi other than that my car is completly stock... ohh yeah 91/110 octane too..

If you replace your motor mounts with solid mounts that should help with the wheel hop.

ok my friend has a 95 fwd tsi with 3 inch cat-back and intake filter.he has stock boost running his stock turbo.i got his car to run a 13.5 at the track.i mean i have had expierence but it is all on the driver and the first time is a rush cause ur not used to the track or having so many ppl watch so its stressful so i would say just work on launching.if u launch around3.5and ease onto the gas you wont spin tire much at all other then that 15.5 for ur first time isnt bad
