Ok, so this was my first time ever to the track. It was 93 degrees outside, 94% humidity, and 110 degree heat index if i remember right. I was on t25, FWD, 93 octane, full weight, and 18" tires at 42psi. Here is how it went.
Best of pass of the night was:

r/t:.308
60': 2.564
1/8: 9.912
1/8mph: 75.93
1000': 12.679
1/4: 15.04
1/4mph: 95.13

Best MPH of the night: 96.64
Best 60' : 2.463

So let me have it.

That is not too bad. What PSI are you running?

The 60' need to get lower. It is all about PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

You will learn the shifting, launching, and tuning to get you better results.

Sorry guys, it was a 15.04, not a 15.40. whoops. brain fart.
just 15psi on the t25, shifting at like 6300-6500. i cant seem to find that sweet spot for a launch, right now it is either bog or boil. I plan on investing some $$$$ into some BFG drag radials though. :thumb: cause those low-pro 18's arent helping at all. and it would help if my clutch was in better condition also.

your 60' isn't terrible for a FWD. Not too bad for the first time at the track. A LSD and drag radials will defidently help your launch.

yea, i am hoping that with 15x8 rims on 215/50/15 BFG DR rubber, i will be able to run 2.1's and 2.0s. then i will be satisfied and ready to upgrade turbos and finish off that path. but for now, do you have any reccomendations as far as launching is concerned?

you 60' will hurt but with practice it will come! I have a 97 tsi fwd. The biggest thing that helped me on the launch is drop the front tires to about 22 psi. Hope this helps.
