I went down to Baytown Wednesday to see what my Talon would run. Before, my best time was 13.6. Now I installed my MAFT and 3 inch MAF along with a front mount intercooler. I was the only import out that night. My first race was against a slighty modded automatic corvette. I gave that guy a run for his money. I launced like crazy and was about two cars ahead of him half way. Then he started pulling and barely caught me at the end. He ran a 12.9 and I ran a 13.2. I was happy with that. But then I called out a Trans Am and dusted him bad. He ran a 13.8 and I ran 13.1. Getting better. 
Then I raced like a 80 something mustang but it was one of those highly modded ones. The guy at the christmas tree was like "you need to bring your car tomorrow night for import night." I was like " But I came here to spank some V8s. He said " But your not gonna beat the one nest to you" And guess what? I did. 
I launched like crazy and I got two full cars on him and he shut it off. 
I still don't know why. Nothing happened to his car cuz he kept running that night. He started pulling on me hard too. But I don't know? Maybe he thought he coudn't catch me and wanted to tell everyone that something went wrong. I don't know. But anyways I ran my personal best of 13.00. with a reaction time of .042. 
Then I raced a new Mach 1 and again pulled about two cars on him off the launch but I missed third 
and he barely passed me at the end. I ran 13.6 he ran 13.5 It was an automatic. Then I raced a 98 GT. It wasn't even a race. he ran 14.2 and I ran 13.2. Then I raced a 10 second supercharged mustang. 80 something. I ran a 13.3. That was all I raced but a lot of the V8 guys gave me props and were checking out the car. I didn't have the front bumber cover or the bumber it self so everyone would just stare at the frount mount like it was something from outer space. But man I had a blast. This is still on the stock 14b, exhuast manifold, and O2 housing. Now I am working so here comes the Big 16G. 12s for sure.
