Im sure this type of thread has been posted before, but here it goes anyway.
TSI FWD
My Mods:
2g manifold (not ported)
hacked air can
K&N
modified boost control solinoid
synthetic fluid (not really a mod but its in there)

The car is basically stock with a good stock clutch, stock exhaust, 5 spd.

Big question is who should i expect to hand my ass to me, and who should i expect to stomp on. Car has never been to the track, but i have never lost a stoplight race yet--to civics, and an occasional RSX or v6 camaro or mustang.
I just pulled the car off jackstands and im ready to see what she can do. She pulls alot harder since i put the 2g manifold in her, but how much does the 2g manifold really do? To give you an idea of how hard the car pulls in the stock form so far, MY GIRL drove me home tonight, cause i had a few, and on the highway, this RSX-S with a decent exhaust pulls up next to us doing 75. My girl started f%$king with this guy, and before i know it shes racing this dude. She pulled like 5 car links on this guy from about 75-- is this normal for a dsm?
Im just now wanting to start turning up the boost, to decent levels, but im curious to what i can expect as is.
See if you guys can give me a list of common cars that i can expect to hang with.

With those mods, and if your a good driver, maybe you could touch 14.4-14.6, some guys on here (good drivers) have been able to run thier stock FWD's to 14.7-14.9

Was out cruising home the other night when i pulled up next to around a 2000 mustang cobra, sounded nice, looked nice. We were riding along side by side at about 70, when he down shifted and took off. So i did the same. Im not sure how fast we were going, but he left me as soon as he down shifted, but after he got 3-4 car links on me, i cut it to 1 or 2, and hung with him for about a mile, then were both put on the brakes due to radar detectors going off (missed the pigs by just a bit)
I did not pull ahead of the guy, but i hung with him, does this sound like an exceptionally fast dsm thats mostly stock? I listed my mods up top, what do you all think? I was thinking the cobras were much faster than stock dsm's but i seemed to be hanging with him for a good while, and i felt like i could have caught him given more room and less cops. I know it was a cobra, due to the large "COBRA" on the bumper, the yellow turn signals, and the different exhaust note, than a normal gt. I believe 2000 was just before they put the supercharger on the cobras, and theres probobly no way i would have caught up with a supercharged cobra. I know my car is not "stock" straight from the factory persay, but those mods can't net huge amounts of horsepower.
But once again give me your thoughts, is this common, have i underestamated my car?
