Transmission dose it spin freely?

Hi i bolted my 2g 5speed tranny to my 6bolt motor and when i turn the motor it seems the flywheel is rubbing something is this normal or should it spin freely with e's ?

did you put that spacer in there. My friends 2g with a 6bolt didn't do that when we swapped it in

u mean the dial pin?

dose it need it or do i remove it?

only 1 side of my tranny has the dial pin

no theres a spacer that goes between the trans and the engine

hmm dont recall seeing anything like that on it

is it on the shaft that the clutch gose on or on the shell/body of the transmission?

Its an inpection sheild that goes between the bell housing and the block. Its got a hole for the starter on the back, to help secure it. If you dont have it in there, that would be my first guess as to why you are having problems.

o the dust cover yeah thats is on there well the top half is but the bottom u can see the fly wheel


i can trun the motor and it turns but not real ez but not real hard but it turns just fine so i belive its all right

how ez should it turn?
