7bolt head question

I need a question resolved. I just got my engine back from the machine shop. and they put the timing belt on ect. Its a 6bolt bottom end and a 7bolt head, and Im swaping it into a 96 talon tsi. I just looked and I saw that they for got to put a sensor on its the camshaft position sensor looks like this EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts. my question is since im using the 91 CAS that connects to the other side of the head do I need to put that sensor back on the head by the cam gears? if so im going to have to take the timing belt back offf

you don't need the sensor that goes under the cam gear. 95-96 were the only years that came with that.

edit: i just saw that you are using the engine in a 96, but you're using the 91 cas. you still don't need the one under the cam gear.

So I don't need to take the belt back off and install the camshaft sensor (EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts) (That sensor)? Thanks

that picture shows us nothing.

IF you are using the 91 CAS (or a 1g cas), then you don't need a 96 cam sensor (under the intake cam gear) or the crank position sensor.

With all this being said... what about a 1G CAS on a 95-96 cylinder head and a 7-bolt short block? Basically everything for a stock 2G but with a 1G CAS (so I can run adjustable cam gears).
