I have searched a little...haven't really seen any threads relating specifically to my setup so i thought i'd ask some of you.

First, my car has made 305whp, 315tq on 22lbs of boost with an evo3 16g, extreme psi race fmic, 750cc injectors, extrude honed intake manifold, 2.5downpipe, 3.0exhaust, chipped ecu, vafc, stock bottom end, stock head with hks 264/272 setup.

Now, i'm looking to make more power with the 16g before going with some type of 35r setup...and i've been able to locate a slowboy racing stage 5 race head...which is not recommended for street use. now...my guess is the head is designed for peak power...while sacrificing mid range power which isn't something i'm opposed to.

In any case, is it worth buying the head (brand new, receipts, for 600.00) to use with the evo3 16g...or would i be better of spending the money on something else instead...like a better ecu (aem/dsmlink)?

Your far better off with dsm link. That head will accually slow the car down as its desighned to operate out of the 16g efficency range. Big port race heads are way over rated for our motors unless your on a 42r and reving to 10k you wont benifit any from it. The turbo (boost) is what makes the power on our motors. These are not V8 N/A motors.

Better off with the 'link. If you can honestly say to yourself you'll be getting a 35r or bigger in the future, you might want to get it if it's a good deal. I've said "I'll get a great big turbo later" about parts and now they sit on my shelf...
