Alright done a bunch of research and even called the company direct but I would like some help from the experienced in order to get a good feeling before I order up some studs. I want to put in ARP head studs in my '93 talon 4g63 nt engine that I turbocharged. Im 98% sure its a 7 bolt (stock engine and internals). Now all the books and the company say all the first gens use the 12mm x 1.25 studs and all second gens use 11mm x 1.25. But Ive also read that 6 bolts use 12mm and 7 bolts use 11mm. Does mine still use 12mm because its a first gen even though it is a 7 bolt first gen? If any of you have the same car and engine and have put these in I would love to hear from you. Thanks to you all.

According to Jackson Auto Machine, a 6 bolt engine should use 12mm studs and the 7 bolt uses 11mm studs. The generation of the car only applies to years of cars that definitely have one type of engine, such as a 1gen '91 Talon TSI, which obviously should NOT have a 7 bolt bottom end.

If you have a 7 bolt bottom end which you do having a 93 you need the 11mm headstuds. Even though it is a 1g the block didn't change.
