I have a fleabay knockoff on the weakest spring setting. It works perfectly on my gf's 2g with a t-25 at stock boost levels.
 
i just stopped at the junkyard a little ago to pull a 1g bov off a talon and ill be putting it on when i get home and see how things go

the bov wasnt the problem, I noticed that ther vacuum lines ns stuff were going to the wrong places, the line going to the bov was going to the a2 nipple on the throttle body and a line from the intake manifold went to a mbc and hooked up to the wastegate nipple...so now i need to figure out how to hook up the manual boost gauge or im just not going to use it
 
well i re did my hoses last night and it's hooked up like the 1g after picture, so that turbo flutter/compressor surge noice stopped. I also do not hear a psssh noice or anything like that either now.

I was looking around and peoplemsaid that the mbc had to be hooked up differently and the bov line to the intake manifold had to had its own line and nothing "t'ed" into it, so i have no idea where to hook the mbc up to and if i can't find where to put it im just not going to use it
 
well something intersting happened today I was having trouble getting the vacuum hose back on the bov so i said screw it and used the bigger tubing i bought today at pep boys and now I can actually hear the vacuum sucking the air in the bov so by using bigger tubing it opened everything up and actually hear my bov now. I also decided to not use the MBC ### I think its pointless since i'm not running crazy boost. So now im done with the car and put a T into the manifold-bov line and connected the wastegate line to that and everything seems to be fine now and more responsive!
