Why are there no subforums for Canada?

At least 1 subforum for a province, please? None of the other regional forums cover the same geographical area as this one, you do know that right?

I actually would tend to agree. Looking at the popularity at just our Sask DSM thread it might be worth it to split it up a touch.

That is another site all together, and it seems if you do not have a ".org" email you cannot sign up there at all . I was hoping for a Toronto sub-forum on Tuners.

I realize that is another site all together but is its mainly GTA and the best resource for any canadian DSM. You just cant have a hotmail or something like that. Didn't you get an email from your service provider?

Never recieved an email, I'm more interested in using this site as I find it more "user" friendly for a "newb". I was hoping some local DSMers would be on this site as well.

Each province basically already has their own DSM site, here are a few that I know of.

BC: bcdsm.org

Alberta: calgarydsm.com

Manitoba: mbdsm.org

Ontario: ca.dsm.org

Quebec: CLUB DSM /// QUEBEC-

Within that board is Team S.O.DSM (Southern Ontario). One of the biggest, most active and most decorated DSM Teams in Canada.
Now-a-days the members do stretch far beyond Southern Ontario as well.

This is true. You must use an ISP email address to sign up at Club DSM Canada. This is to prevent spammers and scammers. If you have an internet connection, you most likely have an ISP email address (@sympatco.ca, @cogeco.ca, @rogers.ca etc).

I found this really stupid. There are better ways of preventing spammers and not everyone uses their ISPs email address. I had to create one just to sign up.

I personally don't think there are enough posts in this forum to justify sub forums.
