i just got an injen intake pipe and am wondering about the connections -- other than the bov return, what are the lines and should i block them?

If the 1G and 2G are the same, one goes to the head, and the other goes to a charcoal canister (if I remember correctly?).

1. bcs return, 2. valve cover vent, and 3. charcoal canister.

1. suppose you don't need it, but if there is a nipple for it, then connect it
2. either connect it or cap it and go with a catch can
3. go ahead and connect it

what kind of hp gains could you expect from the injen intake pipe given that you already have an open element filter?

Smooth piping will flow better than the ribbed rubber shit they use from the factory. The gains are minimal, until you up the boost and do other misc. mods.
