apex N1 or GT

Are you talking about their downpipes? Anyway, the GT is made of stainless steel and the N1 is titanium coated mild steel. Obviously, GT would be better. I have the N1 and I have no complaints, but if you have the cash spend the few extra for the GT. I am speaking of downpipes. As far as I know the cat back exhausts only come in the titanium coated mild steel.

get the n1 turbo back, downpipe and cat back it sounds realy nice. its a nice low rumble. that exhaust with some cams is just sick :thumb:

I would deffinatly get the N1, you cant go wrong. Sounds great not like any honda or anything.

How much power do you think the cams gave you? And which kind do you reccomend. Also is installation easy or should i get someone to do something like that? Thanks

i would have someone put your cams in if you not familar with these engines and dont know how to keep timing. it all depends on what turbo you have if you will see some nice power gains. 272's on a 50 trim is just sick

Apex GT or N1 exhaust? which is better and why? Is it worth the extra cost?

If you want a 3" exhaust, don't get the N1 or the GT, Get a thermal.

But for the tight look's with decent performance, go with the apex.

The apex ni is 60mm, and the gt is 65mm.

If anybody chooses to disagree with me then post a picture, or find a picture of an apex n1 being measured.

the n1 will hold just about anything you put down, its full 3'' to the canister then necks down to like 2.85'' give or take. it is a great sound and looks alsome at the same time. and most important it will flow what you want.

A'PEXi's N1 series includes ceramic-coated mild steel piping with a full 3" diameter, expanding to 3.3" at the back end. The tip is 4.5" in diameter.

N1, i have the full turbo back and not only does it look sick but you can hear it comming from 2 blocks away and its not a rice sound. its so low and deep and it could hold 600+ hp at it

Thanks for the pic, so now i might get one. It's just that every place that sells the n1 say's it's 60mm piping which is not = to 3".

dont worry dude the cat back is 3'' and actually goes alittle bigger then 3''. inside the muffler it does drop down alittle but im not to sure on the size, but it is still big enough. the dp does start at 2.5 to the flex then in the flex it opens to 3'' all the way to the catback. its a very nice system and i think you will be very happy with it

He is talking about a 2G - it is full 3". For some reason, the 1G model is not a full 3".
