New Boost controller.. no power steer

OK heres what happend. I installed a guage/controller for boost, set it at 10 psi at first. Then set it to 17 psi only for a few seconds, car jerked forward and back so i slowed down, went home and reset it. Took it out again only at 14 psi, my little engine block light went on so i slowed down to turn on my street and i had no power steering. WHAT IS GOING ON.. and i just got my RM sway bar in the mail too, this sucks. Any help would be really appreciated.

Sounds like you lost your ALT. belt. This would cause no steering & other problems.
