1g lifters or 2g lifters?

i am going to be rebuildin my engine soon(and turboing) and i was wonderin if it is possible to put in 2g hydraulic lifters in. the reason i ask this is because i have heard that the 2g lifters are less likely to develop lifter tick......
so my 2 q's are:
will 2g lifters fit in a 1g head
and
are they less likely to get lifter tick

Yes they will fit a 1g head, but im not sure which ones are better. By looking at them they look exactly the same.

if you got the money you could buy the ones from slowboyracing.com
for 150..i will soon as i get more money to rebuild or buy a head from them..

so are the 2g lifters the same? ive heard they are better then the 1g's

im going to say that yes they are the same..i looked at them side by side and i couldnt tell any differences.....
