Hey, i know this has been brought up before, but I wanted to get some specific information. I was wondering, would a Greddy Type S BOV and Injen Intake work correctly? I have heard that releasing into the atmosphere with a turbo eclipse can produce negative results due to the MAP censor not reading correctly and overcompensating for air which is not present. If the Greddy Type S is not a good choice, which would be the best to produce results? I am not looking for a BOV specifically for the noise, I want to see any kind of improvment over the stock one. Thanks! - Matt

yea a intake and bov have nothing to do with each other. as long as the intake has the pipe for the recirculation tube to go on it

This may be a complete newb question, but does the Greddy Type S both vent into the atmosphere and recirculate? I don't understand how that can be possible.

Are their any BOV's that still make a audiable noise but recirculate back into the intake so as to not through off the MAP? I heard the TubroXS BOV's can still be heard even thought they dont vent to the atmosphere.

u can hear the greddy with it recirculated back into the intake, but it is louder vented. how ever not as loud as my hks vented ;)

note: dont hate or flame cause im vented. i know of the plug fouling and rich condition. im not a noob.

Do you need anything else to vent into the atmosphere? Like any extra parts or necessarly computer fixes so that the MAP sensor does not go bonkers? LOL I would love to vent to the atmosphere, but if I to recirculate I want it to be one that can still be heard. hehe =]

why would sumone want to vent and not recirculate? is it just for the sound or is there a performance reason?

thats for sure. their is a 2% reduction in compressor surge due to tht higher air flow delivery from the BOV, I guess :) It makes sense, but I am just trying to retionalize.
