GreenBelt,
I have a set of bosch 650 injectors and apparently they don't fit into the O-rings that are pressed into the intake side of the head. The shop that installed the head must not have pit them in because they would not seal properly. It became very obvious this would not work.

Is it possible that I have the wrong injector? Or is shaving the head injector seals common for installing Bosch 650's. The 650's fit the rail side but not the head side. Anyone run into this issue with bosch injectors?

Well I cannot really help with your question, sorry. Do you think that the 650cc will be enough for that turbo? I maxed out my 660s on my PTE 60 trim @ 22#. Even though you turbo has a smaller wheel I believe (from the limited info I could find) that it has about the same flow rate.

Anyway good luck and keep us informed on the progress

i have no idea maybe its time to throw in the 720 vpc chip and find some 720's. Which actually fit properly and get a new set of injector isolaters. What type of injectors are you using?

A lot of the newer injectors have issues fitting properly. Its just one of those things you put up with for the cheap price. Have you tried grease yet?

Im sure this is the case, i did get these very cheap from Indy Race Cores. I have tried grease but it didn't help. The O-rings are to hard and to small.

Conicelli has injector seals cheap so you don’t have to worry about cutting them up. Maybe new ones would be more pliant?

Thats a good idea i intended on getting new ones when i found i had this problem. Conicelli got my last order here in 24 hours.

I could be wrong, but I think the bosch use there own kind of O-ring or seals at the head. It looks like two rings. You have to take out the OEM seals, you can't have them in with the bosch seals.

No they came with new ones top and bottom. The bottom ones look slightly different, kind of like a c channel with the open end towards the mani. I don't think they leak under boost, never saw anything wet after a hard run.

yeah so did mine but they leak like a bi***. Fuel and boost shoots out like crazy. that is also the cause of my horrible idle. we sprayed some crab cleaner in that area while the car was idling and it stalled right out

First time I put them in I had the same problem. Try just sticking them in the fuel, just they are are just barely in. Then put the fuel rail and injectors into the head. Try to seat them in the head then push the fuel rail in with our hand then tighten it down.
