changing ecu to eprom what do i have to do

was up guys im going to trade my friend my obdII for his eprom, what do i have to do switch or will it be a direct swap thanks

also how do u know if its a eprom thanks

it should have a little "E" in the corner of the casing. as soon as I can take a look at one(hopefully this weekend), I'll know exactly what to look for in the future.
