Hallman Evolution Kit and Hallman Evolution RX Kit

Anyone have the new Hallman Evolution in cockpit boost controller...? It's around 170 bux which almost makes one want to buy a used
Profec B... Just curious.

I have the Evolution RX and I LOVE IT! I had bought a brand new Greddy ProfecB and it would creap from 10-11 all the way up to 20psi+ on B16g w/34mm. Well after a week of this i sold it and purchased the EVO RX kit. I had it installed in less then 20 miinutes (almost a 1hr for the ProfecB). I left the controller screwed all the way out and it held the boost at a CONSTANT 11lbs!!! I am acutally able to turn the boost up and down AS I AM BOOSTING. SO imagine if your caught off gaurd in a race and your boost is down at 10-11psi. You loosing and now all you have to do is reach down and turn that knob. With the Profec i was having to wait till the next gear for boost to come down to change psi and i was still boost creeping. With this kit I never creep...i think it was the solenoid in the Profec but for $350 i would have expected it to do better. My only problem with the EVO RX is i have only used the optional ceramic ball and spring once(aka the RX part of the kit). I guess it would be great if the car was a all-strip car but i drive it everyday and i like to run 10-11 and have the option to go up to 18-19...with the RX ball in you cant...it only goes up and down 1-1.5psi. I give the kit a BIG thumbs up and recommend it to anybody experiencing boost creep problems with their Electronic boost controllers.

I second that, I got the same thing, ordered the on Friday and I got mine by Tuesday. Best boot controller I ever had!

Would anyone recommend buying the RX Evolution over the regular steel ball evolution? Is it really worth the extra money. I run 13 pounds stock and just want tot crank it up to about 16 psi just to run it. I'd appreciate any help.
