I here of other car owners using o2 simulators but have never heard from any other dsm owners about using one. I was just wondering if anyone did. Any info appreciated.

I really need one of those! My test piped 97 GST throws a code every week (then I have to get it reset). I spent $200 on new O2 sensors, but still no luck. And no, I can't go back to the stock cat, I took that out, gutted it, then welded a nice fitting exhaust pipe in it's place (that way the gasses don't go in there, chamber up, and create un-needed backpressure).

With the huge HP and spool up time this made, no way I'm going back.

If anyone has any info, IM me or something.

Thanks

-Ryan

Just ground the o2 sensor out. I hoseclamped it to one of the exhaust hangars and reset the code(uplug the battery for a few minutes) and have'nt thrown a code yet, i dont know if its me or what but since that code has gone away my car has ran ten times better.

im in the middle of making the eliminator. sucks some parts arent radioshack items, otherwise id be done.

if you dont throw a code the way you are, just leave it.

I did the 2nd O2 sensor bypass and it worked. You will not find the parts you need at RadioShack. I went to a electronics specialty repair shop that carries all the hard to find resistors and capacitors. I did this mod so long ago that I cannot find the papers I have for it or the site. Sorry guys. I will try to find it. But, it does work and my car does not throw a CEL for it, too bad I am getting one for my front O2 sensor.
