I ordered the dsm-performance fmic Almost 2 months ago.
When i first ordered it they said it was ready to be shipped.
Then 2 weeks later i called and they said that they didnt have the pipes and they were waiting on them. Then about a month went by i called and they said that they had the pipes but didnt have the intercooler itself. Im getting pretty sick of waiting also they already chareged me for a product that they dont even have so come this friday if its not ready then im going to cancel my order. Well my problem is that i dont know where to get a intercooler for the 2g this is getting to be a pain.
Im not really into the greddy b/c i heard that performance drops off after 15psi. So can someone help me out here.

Anything IRC makes will be good. I'd do a search on "IRC*" and
see what you come up with.

I had the same problem with then=m with my exhaust... I called repeatedly and got no answer and was really pissed. I left a message saying I want to cancel my order, they called me back 20minutes later and said they'll ship it out tomorrow. Their customer service was lagging big time, in my case

The last time i heard IRC is back order too.

DSMmotorsport is another on you can check out too.

If you need it soon make sure they have it in stock.

No problem... I just didn't want there to be any misunderstandings. Feel free to give me a call on my company cell phone 317-716-3062.

Well i called extreme-turbo and they after i said that i didnt want there intercooler any more and that i just wanted back my money.
She said that oh its in and ready to ship i just to her to keep it that it wasnt even worth it. So as soon as they send back my money ill be giving you a call ken. Little to say i will not be buying anything else from them. Thanks everyone.

Where did you hear about this??? i'm just curious... since i have the greddy unit...

It was a big discussion on dsmtalk a while back.
Im not saying the greddy unit isnt good by no means.
It was just a couple of guys where email greddy asking them all these questions and There response was that or intercooler is good for 15psi.
Now i know that the greddy is proven for a 11 second pass. I know ppl that run the greddy at 25psi all day.

would you be able to find and post the link to the thread about the greddy fmic on dsmtalk on here? or pm me with it??? i'm very curious about that... no to blame the greddy or anything... but i just wanna read about it...

The aspect that I don't see being mentioned, is that most of the Japanese IC manufacturers use a less efficient core design than the Spearco core. If you want to go fast, and I suspect that you do, I would do your homework as far researching core efficiency and pressure drop. All of this info is available from Spearco. This isn't to say that there's anything wrong with a Greddy or Apex, but size for size, a FMIC with a Spearco core is almost always going to be superior.
