ok, this is whats down right now. im askign around getting a price on getting my head milled, y? bc im to cheap to get the high compression pistons and get the crank balanced. I will b putting crower stage 3 cams in my car in the next month, its down for the rebuild, and by the way sorry to say but its a NT. but w/ these cams and basically everything else inside the engine stock besides intake, etc... the average teenage mod I want to know about how much I could mill of the head and how much that would increase the compression. thanks
 
I hope the crower cams you are going to put in are not the same cams as the turbo crower cams. The lift and duration of the turbo cams are much better suited for just that, a turbo car.
 
yes, its the turbo cams but ive talked to alot of people and said they work pretty well for a aftermarket cam for my NT, even the sales rep of crower told me it would be.
 
hell, the 1g 5spd cams are the same as the auto turbo cams from what ive read. thanks alot rick.

I think NOT - & I definitely recall that the 90 cams are inferior performance wise to the later 1G cams - And there is no way I would Mill the block on these engines & only Mill the head if absolutely necessary - that's what bigger Turbos & 2g pistons are for... What's intesting is if this can even be done with his proposed Higher Lift Crower Cams?
