Will this FMIC work.....worth it?

I'm thinking of using this IC or the 12" tall race version on my new 50trim setup.

I have read some posts about it. Some dsmers have it, and seem to like it but when you look at the inner design of the cooler you see that there aren't that many turbulators to swirl the air in the fmic and transfer heat.

That's the FMIC. Do you think that this would be a decent buy? How hard would it be to route the piping on a 1g.

one of my freinds has a core by the same people that is a tad bigger for his supra. I think its a POS core, the fins look like crap, its a tube and fine design. And from the looks it just not look very great. How does it work i really dont know, b/c he has not put it on yet and its a supra not a dsm. I would not go cheap on a fmic just do it right the first time.

The core is not that bad...I know someone who has this core and is having good success with it. His only maojr complaint was the fabrication of his pipes. He said it was a real bizatch. His AIM screen name is Pngogrande1 so if you are really interested give him a holler and ask him a few questions. I am sure he can probably be of some help.

It's funny, I already talked to him! I talk to dave sometimes and he told me about him and that he had that core so I talked to him about it. He seems happy with the intercooler and I went ahead and bought one.

It's really big and should work better than my supra sidemount for the 50 trim I will be putting on.
