I was taking off my turbo today and I got all 4 of the bolts loose that hold it to the exhaust manifold. Well once I started turning one of them it wouln't budge either way ... I ended up just forcing it because I figured it was just rust but the bolt snapped. there is a 1/2" or so of it sticking out of the turbo housing still so it snapped somewhere where there aren't any threads even. WTF?!!? Crappy bolts ... how do I get it out now? Those are in there so tight and it took a lot of power to snap that thing so I'm stuck on what to do. Sorry if this is the wrong forum ... figured this is the one people read most frequently because I need to take care of this asap. Thanks.

If you have enough to get ahold of try using A LOT of PB Blaster or similar penetrant, heat the housing, and try some vice grips to get it out.

Your other option is drilling it out and tapping new threads.
