I'm about to buy a dual stage mechanical boost controller for my 92 GSX. TurboXS sells one for like $180, but dejontool also sells one for like $90. My question is, is there any difference between one mechanical boost controller and the next, or are they all the same with a different brand name stamped on them? Is it possible for one boost controller to perform worse, e.g. spikes? Sorry if this question is dumb, I'm a newbie to DSM's.

go with a Hallman or Joe P MBC. I have never heard a bad thing about either on of those.

the dejon tool one is $130, the $90 one ha ONE MBC, and the other setting is just stock boost. the $130 one (which i just bought) has 2 MBC's like the TurboXS. i'll let ya know how she works when i get it!
