I was wondering why noone uses' the 1g nt tb from a 4g63. I did some checking and it looks like the 4g63 nt tb is 64mm and the 4g63 t tb is 60 and the 2g t tb is 52. If this is the case then why have I never heard of anyone putting one on thier turbo car?

that was pretty damn descriptive. I am plannin using a 1g intake manifold and head. so why cant it work? the plugs are the same as my 2g.

I needed some help so please help me. Dont tell me I am wrong but not why I am wrong. everything matches up. the 1g intake is the same from nt to t the head is the same save cams and the tb from a nt came off it all. I am making my own ic pipes the plugs on the tb are the same as the ones on my 2g tb, i have both of them right in front of me right now and the ONLY differences that i see are the the nt tb is bigger and that there is no elbow. so help me understand why it wont work. no more Im an idiot answer please.

well the vaccum lines do face the other way,towards the ic piping, but there is 3 and they have the same markings that the 2g does. you know the A,E,P lines.

OK guys, take it easy here... NT throttle body WILL WORK! As long as you the right year, you can even use NT ISC.

However... you must make sure that you use it for a right reason. This TB has 64 inlet, so a bunch of people ran out and bought one, thinking that it is larger. What they didn’t realize, that the actual throttle plate (the thing that matters) is the same 60mm, as any other 1G TB.

I got my only because I was going to bolt it up to a straight pipe on my TR7 and that made it for one less gasket.

Who cares about vacuum lines? :)
