i have a cyclone with some bad valves, i was gonna have them replaced, but i was also thinking of just buying another head, maybe one thats better? Any insight on what would be a nice head to get? Like would a 1st gen or 2nd gen head be a downgrade?

I'm pretty sure the Cyclone and 1G head flow about the same. The 2G head flows less than the 1G however it has superior cooling passages than the 1G. A ported 2G head can be equal to or greater flow than an unported 1G. I would just have a valve job done because you'll be hard pressed to find a head with low mileage on it.

I think that just about any head is good head :D, but the 1G is pretty good as it is. Just a little clean up on the intake side will flow all you need for the street. You can get 1mm oversize valves if you want, but the real improvement comes from bigger cams.

Oh coool, i was wondering if they made oversized valves for them! Where do you get them and how much are they? The kit that is, because i assume you need new springs too right?
