That means the minimum boost you can run on the spring. For example, If you get the 18.75 psi spring, you will not be able to go under 18.75 psi.

You can't thats what he is telling you.

A boost controller only allows you to raise your boost not lower it. If your spring is set to 18.75psi then you CAN NOT go lower then that. You can only go higher. A boost controller does not really control your boost, it's your wastegate that does, a boost controller only tricks the wastegate into raising the boost if you want to.

You can get the Tial gate with a 10 or even 6psi spring but you can only generally go about 2.5 X over the spring rate (on a low spring like 6 or 10psi) and less than double on a stronger spring. with a boost controller. I would recommend the 14.5psi spring as your likely going to run that daily and it will allow for 25-26psi with a boost controller.

yeah, that is what I meant. I bought a tial 38mm with the 14.7 psi spring. Cannot wait till my 50 trim arrives so I an drive it again.
