Boost efficiency levels for the TB03 T-28 ?

I'm just looking for information in what boost levels this compressor is most efficient. It seems mine runs out of juice around the redline (drops from 20 to about 15psi at 7000rpm ) but still pulls pretty good. Note that this statement is without any information regarding timing so that I don't know if my experience is being alterated by lack of tuning.

Also note I am running a high flow cat, would that help me build more boost or cause the pressure drop at the redline ? I am still checking for boost leaks as the cause of that but I seem to have fixed all the ones I could notice with the intake leak tester.

Anyone has experiences with the t-28 they would like to share ?

i ran mine at 15 psi daily, then turned it up to 22 at the track, i really liked 15 for drivin around on the street, that worked well for me

I run 20psi daily on my FP ported Big28 with supporting mods. I also have the same problem with boost. My boost drops off to about 15 to 17 psi by red line as well. FWIW I pulled about 2 car lengths on my buddies 96 talon tsi awd, equipped with a ported and clipped TRE 18g with supporting mods, fmic, exhaust, dsmlink etc. We were both running 20psi. We did two 3rd gear pulls and one 4th gear pull, same results everytime, although he can "kill" me at will from a dead stop. But none the less I figured he would atleast stay even with me from a roll since he has a larger turbo and the fact that he has dsmlink. His tuning was far more superior compared to mine especially since I don't even have a logger as of yet, which is on my list next, and I'm also still on the stock 78,000 mile factory slipping clutch as well.
