i need to be able to go out and play on the streets and have it last for about 20k miles

what all do i need and how much power can i squeeze out of it?

i have the super20g and the IRC FMIC already, the exhaust will have a cutout on it right at the downpipe so free flowing exhaust will be no problem.

i just need a built block to take out a few cocky ls1's here in town if i end up keeping the talon.

the tranny will be sent off to TRE and race prepped along with the transfer case

*edit* how about a stroker kit in full forged form?

Agreed, just fill your glovebox with cash and drive it over to Marco. Besides being one of the first to develop and race the stroker, he also does stuff that few people know about.

stock 4g63 has gone mid 10's you realize. if you are building a tranny and motor for a 20g (super 20g at that), something is wrong with you.

Who cares why he wants to do it. I'm always willing to discuss spending someone elses money.:D

Go call up Jun in Japan and tell them you have a wallet that's wide open for rapage.

But considering you're only running a 20G, that's all going to waste.

You can buy a built 4G63 from www.exvitermini.com for only about 23,000 US :thumb:

"Mitsubishi 4G63 based, built to sustain power levels of 650 BHP plus.

Price includes new base Mitubishi 4G63 engine, steel billet 94mm stroker crankshaft, 85.5mm forged pistons, forged I-beam conrods, metal head gasket, custom camshafts (specifications depend upon power and endurance level requirements), complete race valve train, solid lifter modification, low temp thermostat, torque plate, balance shaft modification. These engines have an increased bore and stroke to bring their displacement up to ~2,160cc.

All boring, honing, balancing, porting, polishing, combustion chamber reshaping, camshaft tip processing, shim adjustments, valve lapping and seat grinding is performed.

NB: These packages do not include fuel system, ignition system, exhaust manifolds, turbo chargers, oil and water cooling systems or any other ancillaries.

Price in Australian dollars is Au$32,500. Current exchange rates into any denomination are available at: http://www.xe.com/ucc/ "

i'd take it to one of the performance shops and let them build it and tune it from A-Z. magnus, buschur, turbotrix, extreme, pruven, shepard etc.

its not just money, right parts and right tuning is whats gonna do the trick.

Paraphrasing my GF, The L2R is so nine months ago. And todays hot turbo will be obsolete next year.

90% of their components are all JUN stuff. If I was to get Jun internals and wanted assembly, I'd just go Jun for the assembly.

*shrug*

Edit: Also, 23 grand for a precision built long block is pretty de-facto when you're talking road racing tolerances/endurance usage for an "import" motor. Go ask some National contending, or SCCA Pro racers how much their GT motors cost.

Why do people reply to these pipe dream threads..is it to amuse the original poster, amuse themselves, or just to further pollute this place with useless threads and posts? And why can't people pick out the obvious BS threads and peopel with big plans that will absolutely never amoutn to anything....Anyway, my suggestion is get a 95-98.5 stock 7 bolt...They're the best engine for our cars currently available
