the third time around

this is the third time i have blown out my throttle body o ring. it was blown out when i bought the car and it took me forever to find y my car was slow. i rebuilt it. lasted about 3 weeks and blew out again. lasted about 2 months this time, blown out again. i can tell every time it happens too cause if i just go easy on the throttle sometimes and once i hit boost my boost guage will go flying up and i can hear the turbo spooling like a mofo, but its like im hitting a brick wall. im so pissed looks like i gotta rebuild it again.

are you using orings from pep boys or something? or you getting actual seals from Chicago Rawhide? You must get the proper seals in order for the rebuild to work properly.

Go to www.motionindustries.com and order there. Seals are $2.48/ea and you need 2 of them.

Those aren't OEM. Those are just the same seals I listed, prolly only made by diff. mfg. since those are green, and the seals I got are brown. You can't order the seals separately from the dealer. Hell, you have to order an entire throttle body assembly from the dealer. Sensors you can get separately tho.
