if the line does break do you know where you can get some braided line??

dont break that line.. if you do, best thing to do is to get another one from a junk yard.

is that line just one long line from the fuel filter back?

That line terminates by the fuel pump, has a 3-4inch rubber line, then goes to a hard line that is connected to the actual bracket that supports the pump. I broke mine. USE FLARE WRENCHES. soak the connetions with some PB Blaster or similar overnight. Make sure your tank is almost empty. Its much easier to do it on a lift if you have access. You MIGHT have to drop the tank down a few inches in order to have enough room. I think the fuel pump was the DSM engineers way of making sure only AWD DSMs got modified, its such a PITA to do a FWD compared to the AWD pump.

When/if you remove those screws, replace them with hex bolts.

Just go to the junkyard and get another tank, just in case. I paid $35 for mine.
