exhaust housing?

I am looking at new turbo's and am considering the 20g because it is a large turbo and does not cost anything, I am going to be internally wastegating the 20g what exahust housing should I buy, the 7 or the 8, I hate lag so could I get away with the 7 cm housing and not creep past 16-17 on the street. Don't tell me about supporting mods I am in the proceses of getting that covered, the car will not be driven for a while, and I might as well do the turbo/manifold/exhuast at the same time.

ps. could I internally wastegate one of apg bb turbo?

I don't have a 20G, but in general, the larger your turbine housing, the MORE lag you are going to have. If you desire the least lag, pick the 7CM. You might give up some top end (clipping could help this, but will add LAG), but turbo choices are compromises. You can't have everything.

Go w/ a 7cm housing. Better spool, and no creep up top. And yes, the AGPs can have an internal gate. Heres a pic of my L2R w/ internal gate.
