4g64 hybrid and rod angle

I have seen a lot of people just condeming that motor, for various reasons. my question, is there any diffrence in the rod angle of the hybrid vs the rod angle of a normal 4g64. I wouldnt think so aside from a diffrent head and lower compression pistons its not all that much diffrent than a normal 4g64. could some one correct me or clue me in to what is going on please, thanks
 
The 4G64 and 4G63 both use the same length rods, so the longer stroke of the '64 gives a more severe (acute) rod angle compared to the '63.
 
I'm sure a million people are argue with me but , the effects of the rod angle aren't as bad as most make them seem.
 
ok do the angle isnt as bad as every one is making it out to be. but, is there a diffrence in rod angle between a 4g64 with the lower comperssion pistons and a dohc 4g63 head vs a regular 4g64. I am just curious I wouldnt think that it would be diffrent but I have heard some diffrent stories on this, and I dont know all that much about this sort of thing.
 
The only way a piston could change a rod angle given the same crank and rod length would be to offset the wrist pin, and some piston makers will allow you to specify offset. Otherwise no, compression ratio doesn't matter.

Exactly. Like in my 2.4 I am using 156mm rods.
