RNR 2g Racing FMIC

I recently ordered a RNR 2g Racing FMIC, which is suppose to be a Spearco 2-216 core and piping. RNR gave me a 216 core that has been cut down to make the installation easier, it measures 24x9.25x3.5 .

I am just curious to see if I should see if I can just get a full sized 216 core instead of a cut down one? Would there be any benefits other than looks to get the full sized core?

I'd really like to have a core that completely fills up the bumper, I think I'd see some of the endtanks and it would be not tall enough to fill up the bumper with the black bar removed with this cut down core.

Anyway, should I just stop being a ricer or should I see if Ryan will let me exchange for a full sized 216 core? I'll try and get pics up today. Thanks

Right, well I never really cared about the endtanks. Plus they might be alittle square, but they are still better than some designs I've seen. I'm thinking I'll just keep this core and forget about it.

Those dimensions are almost identical to my FMIC, which completely fills up my 97-99 front with black piece cut out. The only difference is mine is 9.3" tall rather than 9.25", which could also just be a rounding difference.

Sweet, that's exactly what I wanted to know. You don't happen to have any pics of your car with the FMIC on do you? Thanks again for the info.
