racing bumpers

Not sure what forum to post this in? Anyway I saw that dejon tool has aluminum bumpers to replace the steel bumpers in 1g cars. Does anyone make these for the 2g's?

eh theyre actually kinda heavier.

i took mine off and welded a metal pipe across.

2G cars a lucky, our bumpers are made from some wierd type of plastic/fiber combo that's really strong. I had to cut it for my FMIC and it was so hard to cut I ended up having to use masonary blades on it. Harder to cut than steel, and likely about 8lbs was the weight of the whole bar.

I believe the steel bumpers back and front are around 30 or more pounds a piece . . . . correct me if I am wrong.

2gs don't have steel bumpers. They have glass fiber bumpers that weigh ~~~12 lbs each.
